One day, I was lying in bed with a backache, and I started thinking about a dress I used to wear. I drew a picture of it. Then I thought of another one. I decided to draw the dresses to hold onto them and when I finished, I thought, "These dresses tell a story."

In Love, Loss, and What I Wore, six women guide us through an evening of funny, touching, and bittersweet stories, all conjured by memories of clothing from their pasts.

Our production featured six of the Quad Cities' most talented and most recognizable actresses, led by director Lora Adams.

Proceeds from this benefit production were be split evenly between the QC Theatre Workshop and Dress for Success Quad Cities. Patrons were welcomed a half hour before the performance for a reception, to learn about the missions of our two organizations, and to meet some of the people that make it happen!

A wonderful night of theatre...with the added bonus of supporting two local nonprofits!

Run time: 90 minutes, no intermission.
